Hot air balloons

Let's make a hot air balloon!

You need scissors, glue, a piece of kitchen roll, some string or pipe cleaner and the balloon shape printed on coloured paper.

Choose five colours.

Cut out the balloons.

Fold the balloons in half.

Like this.

Stick the folded balloons together in a pile.

Put some glue on the top, open out the balloons and stick together. 

Like this.

Now, decorate the basket with stickers.

Ask an adult to help you make holes in the balloon and the basket.

Push the string or pipe cleaner through holes in the basket and balloon.

It's ready to fly!
